Gsync is incredible. Feel like worth the cost

slightest bit of light bleed along bottom edge of my screen. barely worth noting.

Was hesitant to bite the bullet since it seems every time I buy a component something a little better comes out next month or two.But I am so happy its ridiculous. This monitor lets my new gtx980ti shine like its meant to.

- 144Hz - 1440p - Colours are surprisingly good, given it's a TN panel. - G-Sync - DP with cable

- Pricey given the price of 144Hz/IPS/G-Sync monitors. Unless it's in a sale or you pricematch it.

1st monitor I've owned that was 144Hz and am extremely impressed. Paired with the Asus Strix 980Ti, I just got delivered this morning from NCIX, and I'm in gaming heaven!

-144hz and 1ms -1440p -great colours for this type of panel -comes with dp cable -runs game smooth as butter with g-sync -viewing angles are much better than any other tn panel I've seen -perfect size for gaming -did i say smooth?

-pricey but its worth it if you want one of the best gaming experiences -got first generation of the ROG swift released and had to RMA due to manufactured defect like flickering and severe light blee..however i did receive brand new monitor that was manufactured this year in q1 from my ram with asus. ASUS is the best company to rma with and they pay shipping and make the process pain free. Within 2 weeks i had a brand new perfect rog swift.

The best monitor you can buy right now at 1440p imo..Just make sure the model you buy was manufactured this year as the early models had some is expected with new technology. My experience with the defective rog swift models from q3 2014 were well worth receiving the brand new swift from 2015. G-sync is unreal. and definitely helps games stay smooth even when fps drops below 60..further enhancing your gaming experience. Just make sure you have the right hardware to power 1440p at 144z with at least 980 dual SLI

Everything about this monitor, especially G-Sync

None at all!

To be honest, the viewing angles well.. Are completely amazing, especially for a TN panel. The colours are actually way better than my last monitor. And comparing to my brothers IPS, well I much prefer the ROG swift. This TN panel is definitely a premium panel. Overall solid monitor. Love the G sync and high refresh rate features. Oh yes, the speed and motion of images are great too! It's also got neat little features such as a cool crosshair overlay button on it -fun to play around with. Also the turbo button for the refresh rate is nice and convenient in terms of being able to switch the rate on the fly.

Great screen space. Love G-Sync

Expensive (watch for sales)

An excellent monitor. Less bright than a TFT monitor, but makes up for it with G-Sync. Works very well with my GTX 780

Design is sharp Excellent brightness colors are very good for non ips panel resolution is super sharp great gaming features response is super quick. 3D with 3dvison 2 is nothing short of spectacular, better than pretty much all 3D tvs I have seen. G-Sync is amazing.

Price is steep. color adjustements are very limited. TN panel does the job for gaming, but for photoshop or video work, look else where. G-Sync doesnt work with 3D, so if you plan to putchase mainly for 3D, dont spend cash on Gsync monitor. 3D in games doesn't work well in a lot of games. (This is more a software and 3dvision issue than monitor) Not much explanation of what is ULMB vs Gsync No internal scaler only one input external PowerSupply

Overall, this monitor is amazing. I was impressed by the colors and the brightness. I had a 27 inch Asus 1920x1200 panel that I replaced with this monitor, no regrets. Response time is super fast, no blurring here. Colors are adequate for gaming I was less convinced of the 3d vision 2 kit I got with it. Most games in 3D are not convincing, lots of shadow bugs and convergence issues. For 3D Blurays the 3D is spectacular, better than any 3d tvs I have seen. Its expensive, but if you have a good gamingPC with nVidia GPU, this is the monitor to get.

- Fast response rate - Gsync works well - Color are bright even at mid setting - Haven't seen ghosting yet - For gaming, this IS what you want - Very nice design - OSD is very nice to work with - Everything worked straight out of the box and was flawless, no scratches or anything.

The ONLY con i can find is that i haven't been able to use an adapter on it. The adapter would work c60hz but not c120/140hz so i just bought a titan x and fixed the problem :D.

I highly recommend this monitor for any gamer who likes smoothness. Gsync is a WONDERFUL feature and coupled with 144hz my god, i'm much better in games. Hard to understand ? get the monitor and you'll see for yourself. As of now i only recommend this monitor for whoever has the money.

-1440p -144Hz -G-Sync -Beautiful Aesthetics -Thin Bezels -Displayport cable included -Pivot, Swivel, Height Adjust -Easy access buttons

-USB Ports at the back -One DisplayPort.

I don't have much to say regarding this monitor. It's unbelievable once you set it up. The YouTube videos (I'm looking at you Linus) do not give this monitor justice. The bezels are small on this thing, and the viewing angles aren't that bad IMO. G-Sync is incredible, it runs everything i've thrown at it pretty smooth. I'm currently using a Single GTX 980 SC from eVGA. 1440p is my new 1080p, and i couldn't be happier... You just have to man up and dish out the cash. Would buy again.

The objective King of the Gaming Monitors

Price/Early Adoption Technology

I've owned the ROG Swift for some months now; and to this day I can't help but get the shivers when I look at it proudly perched on my desk. Coming from a person who has has access to every graphics card of every model and monitor's to test them all with; this is the undisputed king of the Gaming Monitor market when it comes to performance. 1440p is outstanding; 1080p just wouldn't cut it at this size, while 4k at 144Hz just isn't a thing we will be seeing for some time. The TN panel on the PG279Q Swift is the second-best I've ever seen but when you consider that it's a 144Hz panel with G-Sync at 1440p you start to wonder if it doesn't deserve the 'best' title on that merit alone. The only drawback is the price; obviously, but as competitors can't seem to release anything to the makret I will once again provide ASUS with their reward for being the first to 144Hz out-of-the-box 1440p. There are other options for high-refresh rate 120Hz+ panels at 1440p; but you won't be receiving a warranty with them and trust me when I say there's a difference between IPS 120Hz at 7ms and TN 144Hz at 1ms Native.
