Reliable operation, fully modular cabling, and optimized for silence.

The Corsair RM1000 is fully modular and optimized for silence and high efficiency. It's built with low-noise capacitors and transformers, and Zero RPM Fan Mode ensures that the fan doesn't even spin until the power supply is under heavy load. And with a fan that's custom-designed for low noise operation, it's whisper-quiet even when it's pushed hard.

80 PLUS Gold rated efficiency saves you money on your power bill, and the low-profile black cables are fully modular, so you can enjoy fast, neat builds. And, like all Corsair power supplies, the RM1000 is built with high-quality components and is guaranteed to deliver clean, stable, continuous power. Want even more? Connect it to your Corsair Link system (available separately) and you can even monitor fan speed and +12V current directly from your desktop.

Silent, tons of power, looks slick

I like a silent computer. If the HDD's are the loudest devices on my computer, all is good. This power supply is perfect when all you want is peace and quiet. 10/10 would buy again.

-Beast of a power supply -Very quiet -Runs fairly cool

-None so far

I bought this bad boy as part of a new gaming rig I'm piecing together and I have to say that it did not dissapoint in the least.

Absolutely silent The overspeced wattage and silence optimized parts made me skeptical at first but it is completely silent.

I wanted to replace my old Corsair HX950 due to the fact that it was the loudest thing in my rig. This one is perfect. Getting more wattage than necessary is a good thing in this case because the PSU is basically fanless up to 650watts (even with a 4770k f4.1Ghz, and 2 7970s in crossfire (running Prime95 and FurMark) the fan did not turn on whatsoever). Corsair link is an added bonus and at the price I got the PSU for ($159) no other power supply could possibly beat it. My rig is also much more silent which is perfect for movies and immersive gaming.

gold quality

price is steep

This is the first high end power supply i tried. After reserach I decide to go with Corsair which offers the gold quality plus the 5 years warrenty. 1000w should be plentyful for nvidia SLI or ATI Crossfire setup, or even tri Sli depends on the configuration. All in all i am satisfied, and even though it's expensive, but i believe you get what you paid for!

its really quiet and low heat at low loads as advertised...been using this for a few months now w/o a hick-up

the supplied flat cables maybe a little stiff and some of the plugs hard to put into place.

well worth every penny spent and would recommend to anyone looking for a decent PSU w/o spending too much for more expensive units.
