good image quality.

questionable wireless range.

Like all of dlinks cameras, set up requires some know-how. can utilize dlinks cloud service. Emailing events works great. It seems the fps drops the farther away the wireless router is to the camera. Still testing

Absolutely Nothing

Software is practically unusable. Lens is very poor, field of view is poor. Poor FPS Mount is a bit finicky. Power cable is molded into camera housing and needs to be cut to extend power run.

I am a security professional specializing in CCTV/IP camera systems, and recently purchased and setup one of these cameras for a customer who requested it (against my advice). I can't stress enough how UNACCEPTABLE the software is for this device. So many bugs. Not very good at all. It is very finicky to install; in fact it never installed correctly on one computer. The other I had to run in compatibility mode to get it to run at all. The camera lens provides a very shallow field of view. FPS is so low that the picture is very choppy. There are so many products out there that do a better job than this one. Avoid at all costs.

Connects to D-Link account. Adjustable Video size, and good H.264 encoder.

Firmware Ver1.0 reboot after every setting change for it to work. Questionable Secondary DNS some kind of location tracing. Humm? Just change it to google.

This is my 6th D-Link cam, when setup correctly they work good. You do need to understand how they connect to the internet, the biggest problem most people run into when setting them up, is factory defaults put the cam on sub net, set your either net device to an address with the same - Or the setup software my not find it. The motion detections settings are sensitive, adjust and reboot to test. D-Link software engineers need to review the secondary DNS address, something fishy going on.
