Pros
Great build quality, very fast given you have usb 3.0 hubs or else computer is bottleneck but still very fast, comes with an area to hook onto your keychain
Cons
none so far
They designed it well by making the outer shell the part that moves instead of the actual hardware so the USB head doesn't wiggle, get loose and break like most others so that is a great upsides to this USB. Got this USB on great sale, couldn't recommend it more
Pros
Very sturdy, reliable, pocket friendly, great warranty
Cons
Poor write speeds
Write speed is ~20 Mb/s, read speed is ~120 Mb/s. This is average for the price range. This particular drive has a large, rugged plastic sheath that slides over the connector to protect it. If you're constantly carrying a flash drive for random things (e.g. helpdesk tools), this one will survive a ton of abuse. It is quite a bit larger than most flash drives due to that thick plastic casing, but still quite light and IMO better than those slim metal drives that bend too easily. Don't forget the 5-year warranty, which sets this drive apart from other brands. This is an excellent choice for a working techie's flash drive. I keep drivers, virus scanners, bootable utilities and a bunch of other tools on mine.
Pros
Great price and capacity
Cons
Transfer speed
The price for the capacity is fantastic. It's a great deal. However, the improvement in speed over USB 2.0 is marginal. It's only faster by around 10MB/s. However, I will buy it again because it's solidly built and the capacity is more than enough. (For most people)
Pros
sturdy
Cons
none
using it for a car deck, holds a lot of music and transfers it from pc to the usb at amazing rates.perfect for what i needed and more
Pros
Excellent price/performance on sale
Cons
None so far
I have a half dozen of Kingston's 16GB sticks, and they work like a bomb, but are fairly slow for USB3 (39 MB/s read, 21 MB/s write). This 64GB stick has sustained 78 MB/s read, 36 MB/s write for large (1+GB files). Very satisfactory. * Both formatted exFAT with a 1MB block size, optimized for large-file transfer
Pros
Works like a regular USB in most cases
Cons
Doesn't boot
not sure if this is a problem with USB3, but I have 3 of these, and none of them are bootable. I've tried rufus, the linux universal installer, but my laptop simply will not boot into it. It just goes back into the bios whenever I try to override it. Whole reason I bought this was so I could use them to boot linux. Now they are useless....
Pros
don't know.................................
Cons
don't know..................................
I tried to create an Image for a notebook, it failed!(don't know whether because of the brand new notebook or this drive) How can I format this drive in FAT32 ?
Pros
Fast and furius
Cons
No Cons
I bought 3 of them, all works as rock. No problem detect
Pros
-lightweight and small
-comparatively cheap
Cons
-slow
I wouldnt expect much speed if that is what you are looking for from this drive. its more like a faster than normal standard usb 2 drive.
Pros
Looks like a good USB3 flash drive
Cons
Slow for a USB Drive
Cheap plastic
Not reliable
DO NOT BUY! I bought this USB key for about 50$ about one month ago for school. When it was working, the speed was not impressive even in USB3. My USB3 drivers are properly installed and I alway remove safely the device. Since yesterday, it turned out to be in exFAT file system for nothing with no way to change it back and it has now become write protected. There is no way I can put files ever again on the drive, which is now broken for nothing! I tried almost every solution, chkdsk, clean with DiskPart, format, modify regedit, plug it in a Linux OS, scan with Windows, looked for a WriteProtect switch, etc! I wasted hours of my life searching for a solution! There is no way to write on it ever again, unless I RMA the product. What is the point of a USB key if you can't put stuff on it? REALLY CHEAP PRODUCT! I highly recommend that you DO NOT BUY!
