Pros
Price (via price match) Capacity

Cons
None yet

Summary

My 4th 8TB seagate No issues with any so far It should be noted that this drive is strictly for storage and that performance is not its forte

Pros
-large -2x precleared with no errors took 50 hours for each pass though. -Supports a good set of smart attributes.

Cons
-random write time is low.

Summary

These are ideally suited for an unraid server as well as bulk storage. Not good for a regular raid setup though at all. Unraid != raid Would recommend. Bought 2. Ordered 1 more today. Completed extensive testing.

Pros
Huge storage space in one drive.

Cons
I had some problems with the drive being recognized by Windows 7 but not with Windows 8.1 on my second computer. It needs to be plugged into a sata 6 GB.

Summary

The BIOS needs to be changed in a way to accept this feature : Enable write caching on the device. That's why i had problems with Windows 7 because this feature was not implemented by default on the BIOS of that computer. Eveything is fine now.

Pros
Huge storage, Low cost per GB

Cons
Not suitable for all systems

Summary

Great drive, if you are using it for data storage, not as a main OS drive. Ordered 2 for my NAS and installed without a hitch!
