Corsair built its reputation on performance memory that shines in the most demanding computing situations: extreme gaming and high-transaction processing environments. But not all computers are put to such extreme usage. So we brought the same reliability, testing and Corsair quality to a line of memory designed to support standard computing situations such as popular office applications.

Pros
It worked out of the box on my Asus X55U laptop. Very happy with the purchase. A good price too.

Cons
None

Summary

This is a good upgrade for the older hardware. It must be very expensive back then. My laptop is running Windows 10 now, no issue at all.

Needed a 2GB SODIMM for an old Acer Revo 3600 that I use as my XBMC Media Center, worked like a charm, now snappier with more ram.

Pros
Reliable (NOT) Affordable (for a reason) Faster version

Cons
Causes BSOD. Not the first module from corsair vs line to do this to me.

Summary

I don't remember my order # so I have to leave the 3 stars, otherwise I would give it a 1 star This review was modfied by poster b 10-18-13 10:20 AM

Summary

Used this to upgrade an older HP Netbook to 2GB with W7 starter and it makes a noticeable difference. Not bad for $30.

Pros
- Price (musta caught it on sale as it's priced higher now) - It works!

Cons
- none yet - had to update  BIOS first (Netbook would not even turn on with Corsair stick installed under old BIOS)

Summary

Acer Aspire One Netbook 532h (N450) would not turn on at all with Corsair chip installed until first update  BIOS from 1.08 to 1.26 (latest version as of this writing). Once done with BIOS update d Netbook booted perfect with all working smooth as silk.

Pros
It works just fine

Cons
None

Summary

Upgraded an Acer AS1410 with 2 of these today. Went from 3GBr667MHz to 4GBr800MHz. System recognized it fine and automatically upped its memory speed to 800MHz. Is 800MHz a big performance increase over 667MHz? Probably not but 3->4GB is a welcome increase - it's lovely to be able to open my usual 40 tabs in Chrome and still have some breathing space :-)
