CX Series™ Modular power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades, offering high reliability, low noise, easy installation. The flexible modular cabling system lets you use only the cables you need, and 80 PLUS Bronze certified efficiency means less excess heat, lower noise, and lower power bills. The large-diameter, thermally controlled fan makes the CX Series Modular quieter at idle, and the large diameter reduces noise even when you're pushing your system hard. And, the matte black finish, black-sleeved cables and black connectors help give your system a restrained, high-tech look.

Pros
Modular Reliable

Cons
None

Summary

Bought this for use in an mATX case and needed it to be cheap and modular. This fit the bill perfectly as I didn't have to try tucking away so many cables.

Pros
Inexpensive, Modular, Efficient, Quiet

Cons
None

Summary

I've been buying this PSU for a few years; all of them are still alive and working well. Power output is super clean, runs cool and efficient, and being modular is nice to keep the case a little bit less cluttered. Running cool means the fan barely needs to work, meaning less dust being pulled through them. I have this as my go-to when building people's PCs, and they're running my 3 personal PCs (Server, X2 255 .. Main workstation i7 4770 ... other workstation Q6600).

Pros
-Pretty quiet fan -Semi-modular -Sleeved cables -Simple design -Cheap

Cons
-Additional SATA and peripheral receptacles would be appreciated

Summary

It's a cheap and reliable power supply. It's pretty quiet as well. I like the simple design and there are lots of cables included in the package. An additional SATA receptacle would be appreciated, but for the price, you can't really complain about that. Cables are sleeved too, which is a big plus.

Pros
- Quiet - 80+ bronze - Semi modular - 140mm

Cons
None

Summary

It's a great buy when it's on sale and 430w should be enough for many Intel + Nvidia users.

Pros
-Looks great with good exterior finish -Quiet -Fits where it should

Cons
-SATA power cable barely reaches to 2 of my HDD in Silverstone ML03. Had to stretch it pretty good to make it work as there is 12cm from one 'plug' to the next on the same cable.

Summary

Got it with a $20 rebate which made this a great value buy.

Pros
modular inexpensive quiet

Cons
big footprint

Summary

I bougth this to go into a mini-itx build. The fact that it is fully modular made the build clean. The fact that the 24 pin and 8 pin power cables are long made it a challenge to do good cable management. Also it is quite big (deep) for a 430 watt PSU. Got it on sale so the price was good!

Pros
quiet fan, modular cable system lets you install just the cables that you need. pci-e cable and cpu cable are clearly labelled.

Cons
came with minimal instructions.

Summary

I had to change my power supply due to installing a new pci express video card (Asus GTX 750ti-oc) that requires a supplementary power cable (was included with this power supply). This is the first time that I have ever installed a pc power supply and it was fairly easy to figure out by looking at the cable labels and at the shape of the connector pins. The power supply and video card are working well so far after 7 days.
