By: Charles_W13 2015-09-23 14:19

Pros
The price was good, the brand is Seagate and capacity very useful.

Cons
so far there is no problems.

Summary

My old drive, a Seagate, gave up after 48,000 hours. This 1TB drive is very nicely priced and is a really good deal. I have had good luck with seagate over the years and, so far, it working well.

Pros
Reasonably priced, this drive should be a great option for those looking to add a little space. I currently use it as a backup drive and data drive for a SSD based desktop. Whisper quiet.

Cons
None

Summary

While I can't speak on reliability, the initial build quality of this drive is very good with out of the box performance set to impress.

Pros
Reliable and large storage

Cons
Slower than an SSD

Summary

I bought this for data backup and for picture storage. While not an SSD, the large storage size is perfect for holding the many photos and videos I've taken. I've had no issues with the drive since purchasing it a year ago. Never had an issue with Seagate.

Pros
-7200 RPM -1TB

Cons
ssd kills hdd in terms of speed

Summary

It either this or a WD blue drive. SSD are way faster, but this has more space.

Pros
1tb, fast hard drive 7200

Cons
not as fast as an ssd

Summary

good mass storage device for your games and documents. get an ssd if you need quick loading times

By: Nicholas_T11 2015-08-01 07:28

Pros
Lots of storage, solid unit, great price

Cons
It isn't a SSD

Summary

Okay, pointing out the obvious, it's not an SSD, but if loading speed is not an issue for you, then this is a great hard drive for the price, has tons of storage, and loading speed is not terrible. Light, compact and just overall a great value.
