Pros
Small No external power supply required Automatic switching

Cons
None

Summary

This product is compact and light weight. The I/O connections are secure and won't come loose. It's easy to place it out of sight and not have to worry because it cycles the active port based on which device was lats powered on or off. I have it hooked up to my XBOX 360 and my Blu-Ray player neither of which are on 24/7 and neither of which would be on at the same time. That being said, if both are on at the same time the switch will automatically change to the one that was powered on most recently. If the active device is turned off it will then switch to the other device if said device is on. Great product if your TV is short on HDMI ports. Works as expected and if installed smartly you'll never have to use the switching button on the unit.

Pros
Did not work so unable to test.

Cons
No power cord. No way to tell which out put is active.

Summary

I was hoping for the price that it would be powered but it's not. It does have a spot to plug in power. I have an older 2000 CRT HDTV with only one HDMI port. Have a satellite receiver plugged in it. I wanted to put the DVD on the other side of the room with a 20' HDMI cable i have. This was going to be the solution.

Pros
Inexpensive, small, requires no AC adapter, and *mostly* works as advertised (see below).

Cons
Auto switch feature doesn't work quite properly (for myself, at least), HDMI output port is awkwardly located (on the side of the adapter).

Summary

Bought this inexpensive HDMI switch adapter to connect both my computer and a Wii U to my monitor. As advertised it runs without any external power just fine (uses power from the HDMI connections, and unlike several other cheaper switch adapters this one only requires one HDMI source to be turned on to work). My only two complaints are that the HDMI output port is located on the side of the adapter, which I find to be an awkward choice for placement, and that the auto switch feature does not work properly with my setup. I have my PC and a Wii U connected to the adapter, and when turning the game console on the box switches over to that signal just fine, but when I turn the console off it switches back to my PC and then inexplicably back to the console, which of course is no longer sending any signal.

Pros
Compact and doesn't require an AC power source. Works as advertised.

Cons
Would've preferred HDMI output on the same side as inputs.

Summary

Automatic switching has worked flawlessly from day 1. I've never had to use the manual selection button. HDMI 1 is the HD cable box and HDMI 2 is the Blu Ray player.

Pros
Cheap, small, external power not required

Cons
Auto switch feature not useful, 3rd connector on side is awkard.

Summary

I bought this to switch between a 3rd computer display output and a digital TV box in my office. The unit works nicely for this. I bought this unit, with the auto-switch feature, in hopes that turning on the TV box would automatically switch my 3rd display to the TV channel vice versa. This does not work. Both devices are detected all the time and no auto switching takes place. I always have to press the button to change sources. Minus 1 star. Otherwise, build quality seems decent. The unit is very small, but has an awkward form factor with one cable being 90 degrees to the others. Overall, it does a good job at a great price.
