bought 4 of these for my aunts old dell as when we checked with dell they did not seem to want to sell their ram to canadian customers who bought it more than 5yrs. ago. it gave it a slight boost compared to the 512mb samsung stick it shpped with especialy since the intel gma adapter took 11mb's to to run
